How do I benefit from homeowner's master insurance?
As part of my HOA fees, I am supposedly paying for insurance that covers the exterior of the building as well as common areas. If my building gets destroyed (hurricane, fire, alien invasion, etc.) do I get any compensation aside from what the insurance covering my personal belongs inside the unit will pay me?

I have a small business in New Orleans. I got a letter from Allstate tthat when I renew my business policy in October, they will not longer be covering any damages from windstorms or hail.
