It still works, but the screen is completely spider-webbed. I have phone insurance on my phone (my mom knew I would drop it). So should the insurance on my phone completley cover the cost of a new phone or would I still have to pay for it? The phone company is Verizon if that helps.
Would I have to pay a deductible? If so how much would the deductible be?

Also, if I "break" my phone, do I need to bring in my phone to the Cingular store if I report it broken to get a new one? It’s to get a new one right?

Oh and almost forgot, can you instead kinda like put credit towards getting a newer, better phone? I doubt you can but I don’t know what Cingular’s rules are on that so yeah…

The phone we have is used to death and we would like to claim it on insurance, pay the deductable and get a new phone.
I know this is very tricky, because only certain things are feasable when requesting a new phone.
Do they replace for water damage, wear and tear, ran over?
Hopefully someone knows about the signal insurance for nextel phones and can tell me how to replace it…

My phone is not dead but it is starting to act up….freezing all the time and the "back" and "search" touchscreen buttons have become unresponsive. The search one isnt a big deal but not being able to use the "back" button is a pain.

Is this enough wrong with the phone for them to do something? Also, will they give me a new phone for free or am I still going to have to pay for it?
