Why do think it is that the insurance industry has donated more to Democrats during the 2010 election cycle?

The very same Democrats that are using this insurance industry as a punching bag. The same insurance industry they are claiming to be about to "reform".

What do you think?? Do they know that Republicans don’t have enough power to block this bill, so instead they are basically paying Democrats to make sure it doesn’t do any real damage if passed?? (by "damage", I mean damage to their bottom line)

The reason is that the mandate requires that all Americans buy health insurance. Why wouldnt the insurance companies love them?

As obvious as why the bill contains pharmaceutical "grace periods" and insurance company "start-up subsidies"… just another LIE told by the Obama Junta since the ends always justifies the means and, since Obama stated to Beir that He wasn’t concerned with "procedure" only passing the bill, we must also assume that the TRUTH is another hindrance to the Obama Presidential Legacy.

Well thats the textbook definition of "special interests" right there. The insurance companies probably back the democrats campaigns because then they think that the representatives are less likely to pass the healthcare bill because they don’t want to loose their campaign funding. This is exactly why I don’t think corporations/companies should be able to give unlimited funding to political campaigns–it interferes with real change, and corrupts our system.

Could be the 31 million new customers financed in good part by government subsidies robbed from Medicare and taxes on the wealthy. Consider too, the 12-16 million future citizens given amnesty by Obama after the health care bill becomes law, since these new citizens must have mandatory coverage financed by the rest of Society and as noted above.

Honestly, I think this has been the case all along. It’s just now, America is engaged and knows it.
