My wireless carrier is AT&T and when i got my phone (the LG Shine) for signing a new 2 year contract i purchased insurance on it. I recently just bought a LG Vu with no contract but i was just wondering how to switch the insurance from my shine to my Vu. It’s the same phone number and everything just a different phone.
I don’t think you can… you normally have to buy it through the company to put insurance on it, and put the insurance on at time of purchase. I would contact them and see if they’ll allow you to buy insurance for it; if it’s used, they most likely will not let you.
